PPW, Planet at WAR!!!!GRRRRRRRRRR!!

RULES:

1. No ridiculous superweapons/overpowered weapons
2. Let your combatant decide damage when you attack
3. Be reasonable when battling. It's to have fun, not win!
4. Don't take huge amounts of actions in 1 turn
5. Declare to make a turn. That means if someone else's declared, you have to wait til they're done.
6. Make your ships small!
7. Upload as .png!
8. A victim of rule breaking should be compensated with equal action
9. All in-thread comms can be hacked. If you want secure communications, use the PM feature or Steam.


P.S.- Declaring works like this, post Declare once in the thread and make sure you're the most recent poster after the last edited image. After that, edit your post that says "Declare" and go ahead and add your edited image. Sounds easy right?

Let's get started!


A ship zaps at the metal beams, constructing a frame on the side of an asteroid. Two sentry turrets float nearby, watching around the construction while a small metal canister floats above. The planet below seems desolate and quiet...

I wonder what they're doing...

Here are some helpful things to get you started as well!
There are often a few standard units in a battle. Here are a few:
Flagship/Mothership
The main ship in the army. This is often the most important ship, as well as the most powerfull. They are much larger than most other ships.
Cruiser
The second biggest ship in a fleet (usually). They are quite heavily armed and are more common than a Flagship.
Frigates and Corvettes
Smaller ships. These do have some larger weapons, but are not as powerfull as a Cruiser or a Flagship. They are probably some of the most common ships in a battlespace.
Fighters, Bombers and Scouts
The smallest ships in a fleet. They are often contained inside Flagships and Carriers. They are very weak and small, but are harder to hit and come in greater quantities than all the other ships.
Spacestation/Shipyard
A large construction ship in space. They often carry some fighter/bomber squadrons and have their own defense too.
Carriers, Shieldships and Other Ships
Carriers carry Fighter and Bomber squadrons. They are often not armed heavily/at all. Shieldships create protective barriers around small areas. They often have this as their only defense. There are more types of ships too, for example Stealth Ships and Heavy Cruisers.

But feel free to add more of your own stuff if you want! Ground units or anything you can think of are open to be created!

The ships continue their repeated construction on the asteroid, acting almost obliviously to their surroundings. A piece of the structure drifts down towards the planet and rips through the upper atmosphere. The size of the piece when it lands may be the same or could be disintegrated quite a bit. Only time will tell.

 

Mining vessel Sphyrna: "Chunks have been severed from the asteroid, deploying the saw-drones to hack up the debris and bring back the haul."
...
Cloaked escort: "Roger that Sphyrna. We are picking up unknown vessels on our radar scans, should we go investigate? Over."
Sphyrna: "Negative, the retrieval and analyzing of this sample is more important."
Cloaked escort: "Copy that Sphyrna, standing by. Over."

Suddenly, the villagers noticed a star shining much, much brigther than all other stars they had seen so far...

 

DECLARE


Near the massive blue dwarf star, a Lynchpin Grottlecock peers from behind it's asteroid home. Seemingly irritated that it's slumber has been interrupted, it sneers at all the noise happening around it. Around this particular planet, the vacuum of space does not apply to the Lynchpin Grottlecock, so it is able to hear all soundwaves produced nearby. It ponders. "Which of these distractions shall I Grottlecock-slam first?"

 

Declare

The seemingly mindless ships finish the construction, a mixed-green pool of ions swirling at the entrance. The sentry drones burrow themselves into the asteroid itself, attempting to avoid enemy sensors from detecting their presence.

All the while the debris from the construction impacts with the planets surface, it's metal still glowing red with heat. It's not any ordinary metal either, perhaps someone could find a use for it?

The comms are still silent around the structure.

 

A small fleet of unknown bio-vessels arrive in the sector and begin hailing every detectable communications channel.

THZZZZZZZZZZZZ The gate buzzed as the front of a ship peered it's way into the newly founded territory.

Small structures seemed to materialize quickly in a blink of an eye, nano-construction bots or magic? I'm sure magic would be a more reasonable explanation, right?

As the wheels are put in motion, green vines begin to sprout and wrap themselves around the asteroid, and it's building together, just as the small metallic pod drifting above released it's hatches open and three organic hook-shaped objects tethered to the pod were propelled and began to drift towards the next asteroid...

Whoever these people are, they clearly have an agenda. But they've yet to make any effort to contact anyone else...

Hmm...

 

Nothing suspicious happened this round... trust me.
