    Easy fix.

    If you don't hit anything while stabbing you get stunned as if you hit a shield. (Hitting bushes, trees and other things that are often accidentally hit will cause stun!)

    Urg, in the poll it says "the stun should be nerfed", it should be "the stab should be nerfed". Can't edit that.

  5. Jabbing is not a problem because you can either time your slashes and rek their faces or shield a jab which gives a stun. Adding your idea would break knights super hard.

    He's obviously trying to add hyper extension to the game. It would make the game so realistic when you use a heavy metal shield as a parachute and then miss with your stab to hyper extend your arm. The realism is making me tremble (or is that rage at how broken this mechanic would be? )

    Well, played some knight today and realized that I actually like the stab. I think I am still jet-lagged.

    Please come with other suggestions how to nerf/change the stab. Otherwise, please lock, I guess?

    Slow the stab down or make it do half a heart. The speed at which players can spam jabs is ridiculous. I often try and cancel enemy slashes only to find them still being able to slash me later.

    Personally, I'd rather see a shield buff than a stab nerf. Maybe slightly larger shield arc (to hopefully make "paper shields" less noticeable) and a small increase to the stun time when you stab a shield.

    Well agreed on @up. Shield nerf was a good change, but it didn't work, because it's laggy and broken.
    When you get jabspammed (which is an issue) Geti says "Put up your shield" well fine, but the shield doesn't fucking work. Fix the broken game, that's the way.
     
  14. I like jabs how they are but I think players should try to use slashes more so maybe make the rate of jabs slower, so it can be used to last hit but if you miss you pay.

    Shield angle increase has been sitting waiting for testing for four weeks now, along with tens of other small changes, a couple of custom heads and one or two small optimisations. We've been working on Trench Run in the meantime since there's nothing we can do to make it faster, we're waiting on him.
