So how do admins cancel votes now? I think the new GUI is better as it makes it much harder to accidently select something you didn't want to.

  3. seek the advice of longtime players and the players of CW, instead of listening to the moaners who are no longer even to see the update that they have requested.
You removed 1/3 of clan war tactics.(spike, trampoline, archer,...)

It's your problem to work around the build changes, not the developers. Find some new tactics, instead of wasting a week (like you did here) arguing about how much you dislike the change; spend that time exploring new possibilities, for here I quote Issac Newton's Third Law of Motion...
I know that doesn't really work here, it sounded better on paper...

Action: people say the bad things about update (spike drops, tramps, slow archer).
    Reaction: Geti fixes it.

    Remember guys:
Not sure what would have caused this, maybe the base paths were changed at some point. I'll try to make both "versions" of settings work, but for now apparently fixing the path is enough, let me know if that really fixes the issue or if it's something more sinister.

    >Implying french cheesers are the only clan players in the game
    >Implying testers aren't mainly comprised of long time players
    >Implying there haven't been multiple "nerf spikes" threads and that your opinion should be held as a gold standard

We'll see if they need to go back in the other direction, but instakill-from-the-ground spikes are cheesy crutches hiding the fact that builders are too squishy by giving them a dice-roll instakill melee. I'd argue if your entire clan's performance was contingent on a builder getting a handful of instant kills rather than your clan's mastery of the foundations of the game, you are a one-trick-pony clan.

Feel free to suggest better heights for it to do different damage, from memory it's like 8 tiles to instakill a knight now, lower for other classes? Not hard to measure and adjust either way.

Trampoline changes were not intentional, but were deemed not sufficiently drastic to hold the build. They'll be back to their bouncy selves in the new year.

According to @norill it's ctrl+P, I think. It needs to be added to the GUI for sure.

I said the foundations are there - local co-op for KAG is not finished yet, there's just code there to allow more than one player on the same machine. Local co-op will probably be worked on around the same time as Skinney's single-player stuff so that there's something to bother playing cooperatively :) I can't imagine save the princess is particularly fun the third time, even with friends.
Gamepads "should" work out of the box but will need binding in the settings menu, and may not be able to control your mouse yet (not sure, it's MM's work).
Plug in your gamepad and see how far you can get with binding things. If mouse stuff needs binding we can accommodate with the next big update.

    Some Clarification:
This build has been forced out to some extent to clear the air and find out what's "really" broken with these changes, as you've seen going public with anything pulls out new bugs that slipped under the radar, (for example those seclev issues). There've been over a hundred days and countless changes due to TR, and this is the simplest way to get a good handle on what's carried over well.
We'll be getting a new build out addressing these issues early in the new year once they've all come to light and the balance stuff has had time to settle again - and there might be a quick fix build in the first week of the year for clearly broken things like trampolines.

Fwiw there's a very clear difference between pissing and moaning and providing constructive feedback.
We listen a lot harder to the latter, we'd prefer the first kind go back to shrieking at people in CoD.

I was going to try and nitpick something about the build... but it looks solid on paper. I just want to say, I was mad it took so many months, but now I see that you simply had the patience of an owl while you waited for the 1337th day of development to arrive. Bravo, Geti. Bravo.

P.S.: Notice my post count, senpai.

    Bye.

I'm not sure if it's just my computer, but does KAG crash on anyones' mac? I hit the play button and it just crashes, I'm 99% sure it updated.

I get the same problem. KAG simply does not work on my MAC. The start up screen pops up, then I click play, and the game immediately shuts down.

I don't entirely understand. I've said that the change to make archer slow is bad because it makes me want to hide and run rather than getting into knight's range (which would give them a better chance at killing me), so I'd like to see it reverted. It was unneeded and does nothing except make the archer more campy.

Spike drop is builder's only way of killing someone, and it take 30 stone to attempt it. You have to be a retard to walk into a spike drop, so hats off to any builder to get one.

You're just trying to excuse your changes by saying I'm moaning and telling me to play cod. Seriously, how old is that now? Are you 12? What you're really looking for is feedback saying you're a god and everything you've ever done is magnificent, anyone else - well, your clan is shit, you should go play cod, etc etc.

Actually, it was needed blue_tiger. All archers had to do was backpedal and have good aim, and knights couldn't catch them

Blue Tiger I'm not looking for feedback saying I'm a god, I'm looking for feedback as opposed to whiny complaints and the same doomsday game broken forever dramatic bullshit we get every release. I quoted you as an example of unhelpful snark and to point out that the cause and effect you were suggesting was flawed - you're by no means the only person doing it or a particularly bad offender.

Re: OSX crashes, we're looking into it but I'm not able to test it today - we might be able to sneak something in between xmas and new years for it, fingers crossed.

Its good update for knight anyway...

    But for archer and builder..

Looks like all will choose knight for EPIC fights without buildings.

    Lol

P.S il block my KAG from preventing update.... just for mods :)

While I'm sad to see one of the builders only offensive attacks nerfed, I think it fits better with the gameplay overall; if a builder is trying to push the frontline, then he should be escorted/supported by knights and archers. He can't just be a maverick, and the same goes for the archer class. I think they needed their speed nerfed, otherwise a good archer is impossible to kill as a knight (without items).

Speaking of speedy archers, how about nerfing the boulder the same way the spikes were nerfed? An archer with a boulder can wipe out an entire team in one fell swoop, so getting the boulder to the speed at which it can instant kill wouldn't be a problem (you can still drop it from a relatively high place or while tramping around to achieve the instant kill velocity if you're not an archer), but maybe if it didn't instantly kill someone when you're not moving at all and just C throwing... Deal a couple hearts of damage at low speeds maybe? That way it wouldn't be completely useless against an archer at low speeds, but it would help balance out how incredibly powerful they are, particularly in an archer's hands.

Glad to hear the tramp nerf was an accident, though. Keep up the updates, Geti <3
