Awesome Winter Pack Gold Edition!

Do you love this game? Does it give you awesome shivers? Don't you think too, that this is funnier than any Minecraft or Ace of Spades, don't you think that this looks better than any CoD?! In it's large bloodshed battles, in it's peaceful castle-building sessions, in it's PIXELS, it's the best game you will ever see! And NOW. NOW you can ENJOY all this even MORE by just downloading this Mod pack, which dramatically changes the game's heart. With it, KAG REALLY looks better than any CoD, is funnier than any AoS or Minecraft! The warm shady forests and flowery valleys have CHANGED into cold and white sceneries. Alright, in all seriousness, this is a new Mod pack created by Me and Loki.
It's winter themed, as you might already have realised, and really makes the world feel cold.. so go there and blast some enemies blood on wall and then you will feel warm!

My fine artistic taste says something's still missing.. The background is still too snowy, it doesn't fit the tiles. Dirt background stands out too much, it needs to be snowier. Overall I love the effort though. :)

 

its not the background i made^^ just that you know i work already on what you've suggested :P

 

I think it could also work the other way - make the tiles (including background dirt) VERY snowy, maybe even turn them to almost 100% snow and leave the background as it is. That would be interesting - glacier theme. ;p

 

Change the stone to ICE!
I WANT ICE CASTLES! :D

 

Yeah, that's what I've been thinking. :) If you go the glacier way, turn only dirt to snow. ;) Stone could be some kind of snowy (white/blue) rock or ice.

 

actually i'll go for ... 10 diffrent backgrounds or so so ones a forrest snowed in, another one a mountain got few more ideas.

 

This would be awesome if it just had snow instead of dirt and then stone, gold, trees and such...

 

Soo, you all are saying that the dirt blocks should be snow? Wouldn't that be.. a bit too white?

I can do Ice castle blocks, Snowy dirt background, and Snow dirt but Loki shall do everything else ;)

Clarify: Did I get you right, you want dirt snow and ice castle blocks and less snowier background?
I guess it's not anything impossible. Btw, meanwhile if you don't like the backgrounds, the original ones fit with this well too.

 

Looks really cool, maybe lower the opacity of the snow on the tress? If feels more like some dense fog, just a suggestion.

 

Well I am suggesting two ways of change, those could be two proper, different tilesets :

- Snowy - less snowy background, more snowy background dirt.
- Glacier - background stays, dirt to snow, rock to snowy rock/ice.

low quality cauze some didnt like the realistic style, so here's a more cartoony one.

 

Not impossible at all, will do immediatly when I have time ;)

 

Maybe add a light blue pixel or two to the snowy dirt just for icy effect, but that's just me.

IT needs too be a bit darker. And probably the addition of evergreen greens into there wouldnt hurt.

 

'Gold Edition' O.o? Anyway it looks good but I enjoy my kag as it is.
